Jacob S. Kasprzyk

Pennsylvania on December 10, 1930 and died on April 26, 2021 at Symphony Applewood in Woodhaven at the age of 90; he was of Flat Rock. Cherished husband of 69 years to Mary (nee: Yocolano). Beloved dad of Patricia Milot, Jake (Aloma) Kasprzyk and John Kasprzyk (Lisa Hansen). Proud papa of Stephen (Tammie), Roseann, Jennifer (John), Katie (Jimmy), Melissa (Nick), Kimberly (Brandon), Anthony (Haley), Wade (Tiffany) and Brandon. Also survived by 21 great grandchildren, other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters. Jacob attended Donora High School in Pennsylvania and proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force; he retired as an electrician from General Motors. Jacob loved to do woodworking and made many bird houses; he also loved to travel, play golf, fishing, hunting, gardening, working in his yard and being outdoors. Visitation is on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2pm to 9pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. There will be Rosary at the funeral home on Friday at 6 pm and a Masonic Service at the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 pm The funeral service is on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 9:45 am at the funeral home; the Very Rev. Canon Walter J. Ptak will officiate and the Downriver Veterans Honor Guard will begin the service on Saturday at 9:45 am. Entombment will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp., Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Jacob’s life may be made as the donor chooses. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
