Jackie Lynn Domosle

Jackie Lynn Domosle, age 84 of Monroe, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at home. She had been in hospice for several weeks. Born October 24, 1938, in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, Jackie was the daughter of Avery and Grace (Sutton) Goforth. She grew up in the cabin built from the logs cut from their woods by her two grandfathers and father. She moved with her family to Monroe in 1950. She attended Monroe Public Schools and graduated from Monroe High School in 1956. Jackie married the love of her life, Frank Domosle, on August 31, 1957. She was a dedicated wife, sports mom, neighbor, and a member of Grape Missionary Baptist Church. Jackie kept a meticulous calendar and never missed sending a birthday card to her family and friends. She enjoyed oil painting, crossword puzzles, crafts and an avid reader. She treasured the memories of spending time at their cabin in Roscommon, Michigan in the summertime with family and friends. Jackie leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Larry (Carolyn) Goforth, children Frank (Cheryl) Domosle, Lisa (Mike) LaRoy, LeAnn (Ed) Shumate and Rob Domosle; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, with 1 on the way, 5 great great grandchildren, with 1 on the way, 3 nephews and 7 nieces. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, and two grand daughters McKenzie and Marie. A celebration of Jackie’s life has been planned at Liedel Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 9061 Raisin Street, Maybee, MI.Memorial contributions in honor of Jackie may be made to Grape Missionary Baptist Church.
