Jack Everett Allan February 5, 1930 – February 15, 2017 Jack Everett Allan, 87, of Riverview, Michigan entered his eternal home with his Heavenly Father on February 15, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Woodhaven Bible Church. Jack was born on February 4, 1930. He graduated from Fordson High School, Dearborn and continued on to receive degrees from Wheaton College (Bachelor's), University of Michigan (Master's), and Eastern Michigan University (Specialist). Jack served as an elementary school educator in the Riverview School District as a teacher and principal starting in 1955 and ending with his retirement in 1986. Jack was a founding member of the Woodhaven Bible Church where he served as an elder. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed God's creation, especially at Piatt Lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where he also served on the Board of Directors for the Piatt Lake Bible Conference. Jack is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Barbara Kathleen (Choate), his three sons and their wives David (Kimberly), Paul (Marjorie), and Mark (Cynthia), six grandchildren, brother Jerry Allan and sister Sarah Banta and other family and friends. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Jean Allan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Our Daily Bread, P.O. Box 2222, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49501 (https://odb.org)
