Ismael 'Ish' Rivera

Rivera, Ismael. Age 58 of Trenton was born November 26, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Juan and Petronila (nee: Vasquez) Rivera and died on October 15, 2015 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Loving fiancé of Josephine Kobrick. Beloved brother of Ramona (the late Francisco) Bermudez, Lydia (the late Santos) Rodriguez, Juan (Gorgette), Norma (the late Elliott) Rosado, the late Maria Rosado and her husband Florencio, Angel (Heidi), Aida (Doug) Kaiser. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He will be missed by his dog Lucy. Ish was a graduate of Melvindale High School and was employed at Ford Motor Company; he loved the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Red Wings and was an avid golfer. Funeral service Monday 10 am at The Trenton Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Visitation Saturday 4 – 9 pm and Sunday 2 – 9 pm at the funeral home. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
