Irma Ibarra
Irma Ibarra, age 85, was born on August 1, 1932 in Taft, Texas. She was one of nine children and graduated from Taft High School. She married the love of her life, Alfredo Ibarra Sr. on June 7, 1958 and from this union came the birth of two children. Irma was determined to do everything she wanted in life. She was employed at Security Bank and Trust making credit cards, Lincoln Park Schools as a Lunch Aide and a Typist at the Bureau of Credits. Cooking for friends and family was her passion, Mexican dancing with her husband and play the slots at the casino. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In her quiet time, she enjoyed watching Novelas. To cherish her memory she leaves her two children: Catherine (Marcus) Avis and Alfredo Ibarra, Jr.; siblings: Hector, Guillermo, Rudolph and Clelia; grandchildren: Alyssa Avis and Travis (Stacie) Avis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband of 55 years; and brothers: Gilbert, Felipe, Cristobal and Humberto. Click on the multimedia tab to view Irma's video tribute
