Irene was married to Jack O’Neill, her first loving husband and father of her five children for 33 years. Loving mother of Diana (Roger) Bowman, David (Rose) O’Neill, Cookie Bootz, Jackie Sullivan, and Mary Liz Herman. Beloved grandma of Dave Jr., Keith Jr., Brian, the late Davina, Wesley, Christopher, Stephanie, Amber, Michael Jr., Nicholas, Zoë, and 13 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Beloved sister of George Slone, and Billie McCoy and is preceded in death by her 11 siblings. As life went on, her love grew and she married Frank Edwards. Irene enjoyed baking, traveling, watching baseball, and she loved to play bingo. Memorial contributions in honor of Irene O’Neill Edwards may be made to The Angiosarcoma Project.
