Irene Hixson

Irene Hixson was born on August 3, 1950, and passed away on January 1, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Ann Marie (Mike) Kososki and her sisters Mary, Monica, and Andrea. She was an aunt to Michael, Rachel, godmother to Joey, and great-aunt to Colton. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Andrew Churko, and her sister Becky. Irene was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. The funeral service will occur on the same day at 12:00 PM. Irene will be interred at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery following the service.
