Irene Goldie (Klupacs) Tinsley

Irene Goldie (Klupacs) Tinsley was reunited with her husband Eugene in heaven on October 14, 2023 at the home of her son Scott in Pendleton, Indiana. She is survived by 5 of her children, who love her very much and will miss her. Kathleen (Tony) Galuszka, Lindy (Mike) Delaney, Leslie Tinsley (Mike Pask), Barry (Peggy) Tinsley, and Scott (Karen) Tinsley. Irene was the proud grandmother of Eric, Jamie, Mara, Allison, Adrienne, Robert, Danielle, and Sofia Irene. Her legacy continued with 12 beautiful great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Arika, Rylee, Sierra, Easton, Talon, Ashlyn, Camden, Amelia, Griffin, Porter, and Tinsley. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, her son Jason Tinsley, her grandson Jeremy Lorenz, her parents Rudolph and Helen Klupacs, and her brothers David and Gabriel.

Irene worked as a switchboard operator at Seaway Hospital when it first opened in 1964 and finally retired 52 years later at the age of 88. She was born in Trenton and lived all her life in Downriver. She had a deep love for her family and a rich lifestyle filled with casino trips, dancing, and card games. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation for Irene will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road, 48183. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery for a committal service, followed by her entombment.
