Howard Siegel

HOWARD SIEGEL, age 79 of Trenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 22, 2023, after a courageous 6 year battle with metastatic prostate cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jane, their daughter Michelle (Brice) Forest, his first son, Steven Siegel, his first daughter, Connie Huff, his third son, Chris Siegel, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Ruby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Frieda Siegel, and his second son, Brian.

Born in Cook County, Illinois on November 2, 1944 and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Howard worked as a Ford Motor Company pipefitter for more than 40 years, and was a proud UAW member. After retirement, he spent his time chatting on the front porch with his next-door neighbor, Frank, watching game shows like “The Price is Right” and “Wheel of Fortune” with Michelle, and enjoying filet mignon and chocolate cake made by Jane.

The family has no plans for an open memorial at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Henry Ford Hospice.
