Howard was born on September 13, 1942 on wartime. He was the oldest of six siblings; four sisters: Jan Martin, Joyce Wiseman, Annette Morrin, and Susan Christy and a brother, Kevin Morrin. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Erie and Monroe Catholic Central. He took classes at Monroe County Community College. He was proud to serve his country as a United States Marine-- a marine to the last, Semper Fi. He and the former Carolyn Sara were married on September 7, 1963, and they were blessed to celebrate 52 years together. He is survived by his wife and 5 children; Chrissie (Will Becerra) Morrin of Atlanta, GA, Mark (Aimee) Morrin of Chicago, IL, Holly (Gary) Cramner of Monroe, MI, Ryan (Kerri) Morrin of Atlanta, GA and Elise (Dustin Rust) Morrin of Sterling Heights, MI. Their granddaughters include Kayleigh and Amanda Levitt and Gillian, Jolie and Grace Cramner. Howard was an avid reader, especially of history. A friend said of him that she had never met anyone as interesting to talk to. He enjoyed several hobbies such as stained glass design and woodworking-- making custom pens. He was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Monroe, where he served as a lector. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools or St. Mary Catholic Central High School.
