View Video Tribute Guth, Howard Arthur, 85, of Dade City, FL. Formerly of Allen Park, MI died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Dade City. A native of Temperance, MI, he retired as the district manager for the Railroad Retirement Board in 1975, Detroit, MI. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was an avid golfer, horseshoe player, and played both baseball and football in his youth. He was a member of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International and attended the Traveler's Rest Church. He loved to travel and was a member of the Traveler's Rest Motorcycle Club, the Road Riders. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Evelyn; two daughters, Cheryl Novak and her husband, Lawrence of Brownstown, MI, and Candace Moreno and her husband, Joseph of Commerce Township, MI,; a brother Robert Guth and his wife, Elizabeth of Dublin , Ireland; four grandchildren, Denise Berecz and her husband, Richard of West Bloomfield, MI, Donald Bryans and his wife, Veronica of Allen Park, MI, Joseph T. Moreno and James Allen Moreno, both of Commerce Township MI.; three great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Roy, and Drake Bryans, all of Allen Park, MI; and two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Meyers of Phoenix, AZ, and Lucy Ann Guth of Grand Rapids, MI.
