TRENTON – Howard ("Al") Allen Fitzwilliams, 78, of Trenton, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014. He died unexpectedly from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Fitzwilliams; his sisters, Connie Reynolds and Colleen Fitzwilliams; and his parents, Howard and Birdie Fitzwilliams. He is survived by his three children, Tim (Laura) Fitzwilliams; Scott (Carole) Fitzwilliams; and Cindy Fitzwilliams-Heck (Fred Heck); four grandchildren, Erin (Charlie) Sloan, Cady Fitzwilliams, Trey Heck, and Jace Heck; siblings, Delores (Dick) Czach, Vera Pollard, Mickey Durham, Jerry Fitzwilliams, Leslie (MaryAnne) Fitzwilliams, Trisha (Steve) Lake, Margie (Don) Twitchell, Mike (Candie) Fitzwilliams, and Lorraine (Albert) Lok; and many nieces and nephews. Al lived life to its fullest. He was very active up until his very last day. He enjoyed his daily two-mile walk, maintaining his house, helping his family with projects, and spending time with various friends on a regular basis. Regardless of where he went, Al was always impeccably dressed. Al cared deeply for his family and was always available to help them in times of need. Of all the many things he did for people, he was extremely humble. He worked hard in life for the things he had and was able to do. He loved cars and always drove a classy and immaculate vehicle. He was a man who took pride in everything he did. Al served in the Army from 1959-1965. He was an electrician by trade and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1997.
