Born in Petersburg, Indiana, Jerry was the son of Homer and Grace (Fett) Weaver.  A high school graduate, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army.  He married the love of his life, Phyllis Van Meter on September 18,1955.  Jerry then earned his Masters Specialist Degree from Eastern Michigan University.  He worked for over 33 years at Southgate Schools as the Woodshop Instructor.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, Phyllis, his wife of the past 66 years; his children: Jerry Weaver, Michael (Candee) Weaver and Judy Weaver; grandchildren: Emily (Eric) and HIllary; as well as two great grandchildren: Noe and Elsie; and two siblings: Harold (Mary) Weaver and Marilyn (Heb) Hanthorn.  Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Melvin Weaver.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Faith United Methodist Church located at 2530 Charlton Rd, Trenton, MI 48183 in Jerry's honor.
