Herbert O. Mackens

Herbert was born on October 29, 1940 and died on December 12, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 57 years to Judith. Devoted Dad of Michael (Suzie) Mackens and Lori (Jeff) Whiteside. Proud Papa of Zachery, Amy, Reed, David and Chloe and great grandpa to Lincoln. Dearest brother of Dewey Mackens, Ralf (Bonnie) Mackens and Judy Mackens. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Lola (Conatser) Mackens and two brothers, Warren and David Mackens. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Herbert graduated from Southwestern High School; was a business owner with Twin Pine Dairy and retired from the Trenton Public School System. While his family was his love in life, he was also an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting from coast to coast. Memorial contributions may be made to Metroparks Foundation
