Henry "Tom" Bates Jr.

Henry “Tom” Thomas Bates Jr., age 60 of Lincoln Park, passed away on April 27, 2024 with his wife by his side. He was the beloved husband to his wife, Coleen, for 29 years while being together for 40+ years.

Loving father to Justin and Connor. Loving son to Henry, Sr. and Mary Bates. Beloved brother to Alma (Kevin), Barbara (Bob), and Ben. Beloved brother-in-law to Darlene (Dave). Dearest uncle to Jacob (Amanda), Klay, Stephen, Spencer, and Stephanie (Justin). Dearest great-uncle to Abby, Evie, Liam, and Charlie. Best-friend to Joe and Barry. Beloved brother by heart to Tracy, Toni, and Carol. He was also well loved by many others.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to take place at 11:00 am with visitation hours prior from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Township, MI.

There will be a funeral luncheon at 1:30 pm after the entombment with Crystal Gardens, 16703 Fort St. Southgate, MI 48195. Family invites anyone to please join in celebration of Tom.
