Helen T. Kayson

Born in Dearborn, Helen was the daughter of Charles and Pauline (Stamm) Rantz. She married the love of her life, Charles Kayson, on November 3, 1945. Sadly he preceded her in death May 6, 2011. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Helen was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood. Helen always considered her happiest times were spent with her family at her home on Lake Erie and with her friends. She considered 65 years of marriage her biggest accomplishment in life. Helen leaves to cherish her memory her children: Charles Kayson, Jr. of East Rockwood, Anthony (Antoinette) Kayson of South Rockwood, Patricia Hair of Indianapolis, Indiana, Beverly Adams of East Rockwood and Mary (Raymond) Bonnici of Riverview; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a sister Clara Teeple of Sturgis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Helen may be made to Rockwood Historical Society or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
