Helen "Sue" Moore

Helen (Sue) Moore, age 70, passed away on November 4, 2018 at her home in Carleton. She was born June 24, 1948 to George and Helen Jewell. She married Tom Moore on October 19, 1968, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Sue graduated from Monroe High School and went to work in the insurance industry. She worked for the Smith Agency before becoming a mother, and eventually returned to work at the Poupard Agency, where she continued to work part time. She was also actively involved in Monroe Collision Service as a co-owner. Sue was a devote wife, mother, and grandmother. Just as she had done for her girls, she loved to attend as many of her grandchildren's activities as possible. When time allowed, she and Tom would head north to their cabin in Fairview, Michigan. Sue loved riding through the trails looking for wildlife. Sue is preceded in death by her father, George. She is survived by her husband Tom; her mother Helen; her daughters: Becky (Eric) Wiklendt and Heather (Nicholas) Burkhart; and grandchildren: Keeley, Quinn, Allie, and Fiona. In accordance with Sue's wishes cremation arrangements are being held.
