Helen Suda

Helen was born on May 8, 1941 in Anderson, South Carolina and died on June 4, 2018 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 77; she was of Brownstown. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Lisa (Bill) Lawrence and Shelley Suda. Cherished grandma of Joshua Lawrence, Jessica Lawrence and Kaitlyn, Samantha and David Smith. Also survived by one brother Harold Gilbert and one sister Connie Chandler as well as other loving family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Addie (nee: Sanders) Gilbert, one brother Leroy Gilbert and one sister Pearl Burton. Visitation is on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 3 – 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Helen will lie in state on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 2849 Manning, Trenton until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown. Memorial contributions to honor Helen's life may be made to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
