Helen Louise Jewell

Helen Louise Jewell, age 96 of Scofield, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Fountainview of Monroe. Born July 29, 1925 in Maybee, Helen was the daughter of Louie and Edna (Murray) Boes. She married the love of her life George H. Jewell. Sadly he preceded her in death in November of 1985. A dedicated homemaker, Helen was a lifelong member of the Carleton United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the London Senior Citizens. Helen leaves to cherish her memory her son Larry H. Jewell Sr.; grandsons Larry H. Jewell Jr., Brandon Jewell, Shawn Jewell and William (Pam) Jewell; as well as six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Helen and two sisters. Private burial services took place at Marble Park Cemetery
