Born in South Rockwood, Harry was the son of Martin and Vera (Buesnel) Lizyness. He married the love of his life, Janice Kramer, on July 11, 1958 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood. Harry worked production for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the Woodhaven Moose Lodge. Harry enjoyed golfing, beekeeping, hunting fishing and wintering in Florida with Janice, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory, Janice, his wife of the past 64 years; children: David (Linda) Lizyness, Gregory (Kristen) Lizyness, Timothy Lizyness, Susan Young and Cynthia (Bill) Osborne; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 2 siblings: Robert (Sandy) Lizyness and Janet Ewaniuck. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law James Young; as well as 7 siblings: Martin Lizyness, Jack Lizyness, William Lizyness, James Lizyness, Dorothy Odette, Donna Venier and Ann Bacarella.
