Harriett Martell

Harriett was born on November 8, 1915 in Rockwood, MI and died on February 25, 2016 at her home in Trenton at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Bruce. Loving mom of the late Dennis and his wife Debbie Martell and of Deane and his wife Maria Martell. Proud grandma of Kelly (Shane) Scovel and the late Sean Martell and great grandma of Hayden and Avery. Dearest sister of Robert (the late Hazel) Laginess. Also survived by her nephews Alan, Glen, Dale and Gary Laginess and 2 nieces Linda Beach and Laura Jackson as well as other loving family and friends. In addition to her husband and grandson she was preceded in death by her mother Mable Laginess, 3 brothers Gilbert, Wilmer (Geneva) and Arnold Laginess and 2 nieces Karen Boyd and Gail Laginess. Harriett graduated in 1933 from River Rouge High School and retired as an executive secretary from Cadillac Motors. Her family was her love in life and she was dedicated to them; she was a servant of God and cared for anyone in need.
