March 7, 1933 — May 2, 2015

Harold Hatcher

Born in Monroe, Harold was the son of Gilbert and Lillian (Cordrey) Hatcher. He married the love of his life, Veronica "Ronnie" Sordini, on April 19, 1952 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe. Harold faithfully served his country in the United States Army with the 32nd Infantry Regiment in Korea, from March 2, 1953 until his discharge January 4, 1955. Harold spent 39 working for General Motors Corporation, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the American Legion in Ida and the VFW in Toledo. Harold leaves to cherish his memory, Ronnie, his wife of the past 63 years; a brother Gilbert (Marilyn) Hatcher of Temperance and a sister Betty Whitaker of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Garwood Hatcher and Jack Hatcher; as well as an infant sister Philomena Hatcher. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
