Gloria B. Burchett

Born in Monroe, Gloria was the daughter of Michael & Dorothy (Murphey) Simonelli. She married Hershel Burchett August 17, 1946. Sadly he preceded her in death on March 14, 1975. Gloria was a cook at the Ford Motor Company's Monroe plant for over 42 years, retiring in 2002. Her hobbies included: doing crossword puzzles, reading, bowling and watching NCIS. Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Linda (Gil) Micheles of Temperance and Nancy Goins of Monroe; three grandchildren: Julie (Matt) Rigel, Jennifer Ward and Kelee Williams; six great grandchildren: Jenna Gallottia, Sexton Ward, Connor Rigel, Madison Goins, Mckenzie Goins and Janelle Rigel and as well as one sister Rosie (Robert) Woodward of Monroe. In addition to her husband, Gloria was preceded in death by five brothers: Eddie Simonelli, Mickey Simonelli, Tommy Simonelli, Teddy Simonelli, Jackie Simonelli; two sisters: Fimmy Bailey, Betsy Webb and two grandsons: Jeff Gallottia and Gillis Goins Jr. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services were held and burial of her ashes will take place in Woodland Cemetery, with her husband.
