Glenn Alvin Gonyea

Born in Monroe, Glenn was the second oldest of 10 children born to Alvin and Florence (Meyer) Gonyea. A 1961 graduate of Trenton High School, he worked for the City of Rockwood for over 33 years, retiring in 2002. He married Veronica Villanueva on February 14, 1997. He was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood where he was Baptized, made his First Communion, and was Confirmed. Glenn enjoyed fishing and collecting memorabilia, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memory, Veronica, his wife of the past 27 years; his children: Thomas (Dian) Gonyea, Dawn (Jon) Coultes, and Amber (Todd) Eramo; four step children: Vener Surat, Carlota Surat, Carlver Surat, and Virginia Surat; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by six siblings: Allen Gonyea, Jane Little, Theresa (Andy) Musgrove, Verna Mae Gonyea, Nancy (Lee) Griffiths and Gerald (Ellen) Gonyea. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son Glenn Gonyea Jr.; his brother Floyd and sister-in-law Lourdes Gonyea; sister Janet and brother-in-law James Beck; brother Calvin Gonyea; sister-in-law Starlene Gonyea; brother in law Garry Little; a niece Glenda Wessel; nephew Scott Gonyea; and a step son Arnel Surat.
