Giuseppe Scavo

Giuseppe was born on August 29, 1929 in Carbonara di Bari, Italy and died on April 26, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton at the age of 87; he was of Woodhaven. Beloved husband of 65 years to Anna. Loving dad of Maria Ross. Cherished papa of Cameron Joseph Ross and Sienna Alexis Ross. Dearest brother of Gina (Tonino) Mazzotta and the late Giovanni Scavo. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Also preceded in death by his parents Nicolo Antonio and Marie (nee: DeGiulio) Scavo. Giuseppe retired after 25 years of service from Ford Motor Company where he loved his job as a pipefitter-plumber. He enjoyed collecting tools, fixing and building things and gardening. Giuseppe loved to meet friends for coffee at Panera Bread and loved to go to Home Depot and he would bring home a new tool after most every visit. Visitation is on Sunday from 1 – 9 pm with a Rosary on Sunday at 6 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service is Monday at 10 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made as the donor chooses. A video tribute will be added, please check back.
