Giuseppe "Joe" Disanto

Giuseppe “Joe” DiSanto, of Taylor, passed away June 22, 2024. Beloved husband of Maria for 60 beautiful years. Loving dad of Angela (Anthony) Chirco, Salvatore (Sandra) DiSanto, and Francesco (Michelle) DiSanto. Cherished nonno of Anmarie (Sean) McGowan, Joseph (Catherine) Chirco, Maria DiSanto, Giuseppina DiSanto, and Marco Mazzone. Proud great Nonno of Antonino & Giuliana Chirco, and soon to be Liam Michael McGowan. Dear brother of the late Santina (the late Vincenzo) Galati, the late Susanna (the late Guiseppe) Palazzolo, the late Angela (the late Agostino) Vassallo, and Onorato (the late Carole) DiSanto. Brother-in-law of Giuseppe (Caterina) Vitale, Serafina (the late Giacomo) Biundo, the late Girolomo (Mimma) Biundo, the late Francesca (Vincenzo) Mannino. He is preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Angelina DiSanto. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Joe enjoyed tending to his garden and growing the most beautiful roses. He was also happy to be surrounded by his family, especially during Sunday dinners.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, Allen Park Chapel on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 2:00 until 8:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7 pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Alfred Catholic Church, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Joe will lie in state from 10:30 until the mass begins at 11:00 am. Entombment will take place immediately following at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
