Gisele Mcqueen

Gisele Mary McQueen, 78, departed this world for heaven on May 16th, 2019 at 3:55 a.m. She was born to Larry and Rita Michaud on December 14th, 1940 in Hull,Quebec,Canada, with two amazing brothers Morris Michaud (Morris passed on November 28,2019) and Larry Michaud. She was born a spunky free bird, ready to explore the world. She came to America at only 19 years old, where she taught herself everything there was to know, even how to speak English. Gisele was a God-fearing, hardworking, independent woman that raised three beautiful, strong-willed children. Joanne, Diana, and Danny(Danny passed on December 29,2007). Into her retirement years, Gisele fulfilled many roles. Her main goal was always getting her family to church to learn about God, and setting a good example for her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Gisele had a passion for sewing dresses and skirts for needy children with her loving friends in the "Sewing For Jesus Minisrty." They would send shoe boxes that were filled with things a child needs all around the world. She would also make crosses out of yarn in her own home and ship them monthly to The Chapel in Ormond Beach,Flordia for others to cherish. On days she couldn't sit still, she would go to the Wayne County Community College to paint masterpieces for the family. She would always say,"I'm no artist but I love making things for others." Gisele McQueen love the Lord with all her heart and would live by this scripture. Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength. Memorial service for this beloved woman will be held at Southpoint Church 5699 Fort Street, Trenton, Michigan 48183. On Saturday May 25th ,2019 at 11 a.m. a lunch-in will follow the service. Thank you to all those that love Gisele. God bless
