Giovanni Covelli

Giovanni Mario Covelli, age 77 of Taylor, passed away on August 25, 2024. He was the beloved husband to his wife, Maria, of 56 years.

Loving son to Benedetto and Antonietta Covelli. Loving father to Antonietta (James) Smith, Teresa (Robert) Sgroia, Benedetto (Kelly) Covelli, and Cindy (Mohamad) Elhaouli. Loving papa to Vanyssa, Marcello, Giovanni, Joshua, Luca, Dominic, Ronnie, Michael, Giovanni, Isabella, Angelo, Julia, and Benedetto. Loving brother to Maria (Gaetano) Siletta, Teresa (Giuseppe) Murgolo, Rosa (Giuseppe) Teoli, late Caterina Covelli, late Giuseppe Covelli, Franca (Nicola) Cucuzella, Laura (Denis) Mathers, and Patrizia Covelli. Beloved brother-in-law and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be a rosary service during the evening, but time is pending. Funeral ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Allen Park Chapel at 12:00 pm. There will be a procession to St. Hedwig Cemetery.
