Gilda Scipione

Gilda Genoveffa Scipione, age 99 of Allen Park, passed away on May 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife to her late husband, Victor, of 58 years.

Devoted and loving mother to Victor Jr. (Susan), Anselm (Lena), and Diana (Kris) Hohl. Nonna to Christopher (Christy), Stephanie, Laura (Giuseppe) Talluto, Daniel, and Austin. Nonnina to William, Vivian, Thomas, and Gemma. Loving sister to late Lucia (Corrado) Federico, and Donato "Dan" (late Silvana) Di Pierdomenico. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Clementina Di Pierdomenico. She was also well loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Rosary time is at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St. Frances Cabrini at 10:00 am with an in state at 9:30 am. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
