Gerry Poupard

Geraldine Poupard, age 89 “39” of Monroe, passed away April 17, 2023 at Wellspring Lutheran Services, surrounded by her family.

Born August 18, 1933 in Monroe, Gerry was the daughter of Francis and Mabel (March) Frankhouse. She married Robert Poupard on November 28, 1953. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A breast cancer survivor, Gerry enjoyed reading and baking, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Gerry leaves to cherish her memory her children: Beth Ann (Chuck) Jackson, Mary Ann (Bill) Pancone and Robert (Ronnie) Poupard; grandchildren: Sonya (Brian) Winkelman, Stephanie (Sean) Ford, Ryan Pancone, Nikki Pancone, Adam (Ashley) Pancone, Mariah (Ron) Benore and Bobby (Theressa) Poupard; great grandchildren: Eryka, Cheyenne (Clay), Gianna (Michael), Rayenne, Sierra (David), Sophie, Jackson, Hailey, Will, Meechie, Dakota, Brody, Harper, Ron, Remi, Braxton, Madalynn, Nik, Bobby and Waylon; great-great grandchildren: Michael, Giavonna and David Jr.; as well as her siblings Donald (Eunice) Frankhouse and Ralph Frankhouse. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 32 years Robert Poupard and five siblings: Sidney Frankhouse, Bernice Ingraham and Eunice Johnson, Maggie Grodi and Janice Shock.
