Germaine "Geri" Marie Wilson

Germaine (Geri) Marie Wilson (nee Stimac) of Newport, MI, passed away August 9, 2022, after a three-month long bout with lung and bone cancer. She died at the age of 65 years old, with family by her side. She was born August 16, 1956, in Detroit to the late Thomas and Gloria (nee Muntean) Stimac. Geri attended Greenfield Union Elementary and Nolan Junior High in Detroit, before graduating from Lutheran High East, class of 1974. Before retiring, Geri worked at Detroit Public Schools Administration, Hand Surgery Associates, Kroger, and Walgreens. Beloved companion of Del Case for 22 years. Dearest mother of Jeffrey, Jason, the late Ryan, and Joshua. Loving and proud grandmother of Caleb Daniel, Dominic Ryan, Tabitha Elizabeth, Madelyn Rose, and Jason Cody. Dear sister of Thomas (Dianne) Stimac Jr., and aunt to her three nephews Tommy (Danielle) Stimac, David (Caroline) Stimac, and AJ Stimac. Geri will be missed by her Aunt Amy (the late Ronald) Rowland, her great nieces (Lorelei & Lillianna), great nephews (Tyler & Cameron), and many more cousins and friends. She will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery, at the foot of her parents’ graves, and next to her son Ryan. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
