Geraldine A. Harding

Geraldine (Jeri) A. Harding, born December 19, 1933 of Taylor, Michigan, passed away peacefully May 12, 2022 at home, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by beloved husband Robert L. Harding, parents Emory and Catherine Smith, sister Virginia and Ed Green, and brother Emory Smith. Who is survived by sisters Cathie (George) McCourt, Jeannie (Jerry) Will, Lynn (Ron) Sandberg, and sister-in- law Judy Smith. Jeri was the loving mother of 6 children; Kim (Joe) Paladino, Bob (Betty) Harding, Karen (Jim) Matheney, Dennis Harding, Julie (Jimmy) Phillips, and David (Dawn) Harding. Cherished Grandmother of 15 grandchildren; Liz (Dave), Joe (Kelli), Sara (Chris), Robby (Jessica), Michael (Ashley), Emily (Brandon), Jill, Kendra (Joe), Daniel (Nicole), Lisa (Angelo), Chelsey (Cody), Abby (Kevin), MacKenzie, Karlee, Sydney, 20 great grandchildren, and the favorite Aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. Jeri’s welcoming smile and contagious laugh gathered everyone around the kitchen table. The time spent with her will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.Visitation to take place at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, Allen Park, MI 48101 on Sunday, May 15th, from 2-8pm. Funeral service Monday, May 16th at 10am at the funeral home with processional to follow. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
