Peffers, Jr. (Lynne), Julie H. (David) Holly, and Philip R. (Carrie) Peffers. Grandpa to 11, great grandpa to 22 and great great grandpa to 10. Gerald is survived by his special friend Joan and his siblings, Shelby (Lee) Meyers, Ford (Mary) Peffers, Daniel (Bobbi) Peffers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ford and Eva Peffers and his sister Sally (James) Sheppard. Gerald spent the winters in Tucson where he and Joan enjoyed playing canasta. He loved to watch Gun Smoke, play sudko and tend to his garden. He had an admiration for good food and going out to eat. He was the happiest when he would spend his time traveling to numerous of his grandchildren’s baseball and softball games. He loved watching sports and putting puzzles together. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Gerald to Allen Park Athletic Club Baseball - P.O. Box 691 Allen Park, MI 48101. Casual dress is requested at the memorial gathering and service.
