George S. Martin

George S. Martin of Taylor, Michigan passed away in the early hours of Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Georgia Martin. Cherished father of Kathleen (Paul) Stencel, Candus (Laura Yartz) Olson, Meckell Martin, and Erica Spicer. Loving grandfather of Aaron Stencel, Nicholas (Kristina) Stencel, Felisha Reeves, Jessica (Brandon) Sloan, and Christopher Cook. Dearest great-grandfather of 12 and great-great-grandfather of 1. George was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation for George will take place on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The service will be held the same day at 2:00 p.m. followed by a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery for the committal service followed by the burial. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association in George's honor.
