George Kapsa

June 30, 1944 — July 28, 2018

George Kapsa

Born in Wyandotte, George was the son of Frank and Genevieve (Knizewski) Kapsa Sr. He married the love of his life, Priscilla Regan, on May 23, 1969. A 1962 graduate of Wyandotte High School, George had first done factory work. He then became a Bus Driver with Airlines Parking for over 15 years, retiring in 2004. George loved the outdoors: hunting, camping at Silver Lake, visiting Custer State Park in South Dakota and vacationing in Florida. He also enjoyed car racing (and at one time raced his own car at Milan Dragway), watching television, especially the Big Bang Theory and the Food Network, as well as playing euchre. George leaves to cherish his memory, Priscilla, his wife of the past 49 years; his children: Christina (Rolf) Patrick and Laura Ann Bailey; two grandchildren: Celia Michelle Patrick and Elaine Patrick; as well as his siblings: Robert Kapsa, James (Veronica) Kapsa and Linda Stec. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Virginia Draybuck and a brother Frank Kapsa Jr. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of George are asked to please consider the family to assist with funeral expenses.
