Gene Darty

Gene was born on June 1, 1950 in Trenton, Michigan to Joseph and Virlie (nee: Head) and died on December 3, 2015 at the age of 65 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Beloved husband of 46 years to Ann. Loving dad of Shannon (Ron) Sampson and Kevin (Kelly) Darty. Proud papa of Colin, Logan, Mikayla, James, Justin and Mackenzie. Dearest brother of James (Sandy) Darty and Wyvonne (Rick) Evans. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; his brother Dale and his sister Linda. Gene proudly served his county in the United States Air Force. He was retired from the Trenton Fire Department and he worked as an electrician. He was a member of Local 58. When he had time he enjoyed golf, sailing and hunting.
