Gary N. Lentz

Gary N. Lentz, age 76 of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Regency Health Care Center in Taylor. Gary was born March 27, 1945 in Monroe, MI to Shirley and Esther (Kurtz) Lentz. He married Karen Ann Duvall on April 29, 1967 in Monroe. Gary worked at Tenneco as a Director of credit in finance. After leaving Tenneco, Gary enjoyed building and refinishing furniture and also worked for The Monroe Evening News as a District Manager in distribution. Once he retired, Gary enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching football. Surviving are Gary’s wife Karen Lentz of Monroe; 2 sons Travis Drake of Monroe and Michael Lentz of Monroe; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother Keith Lentz of Ohio and 1 sister Diane (Tom) Kaper of Ohio. Gary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Esther Lentz. Cremation will take place at this time and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
