Frederick G. "Bud" Stenton

Loving father of Rita Diaz, Tina (Joe) Harris, and David Stenton. Extremely proud grandfather of Jessica Diaz, McKenzie, Shelby and Mia Harris. Surviving loving sister Helen Polderdyke. Bud was a graduate of St. Catherine Parochial School. He attended Chico State College in California and Central Michigan University. After graduating from high school, Bud served in the United States Air Force. After completing his service, he began working at Chrysler Corporation. He worked there for 32 years. Upon retiring, he spent all of his time with his family and becoming a swim coach. Coach Bud, as he is known, was part of the Taylor Pool Sharks organization for over 18 years. The love and dedication he had for every single swimmer and family was evident by the amount of hugs and love he received in return. Bud was at every sporting event that his granddaughters attended and he taught all of them how to swim. Bud and Karen were always together and their love was the foundation for their children’s futures. He will be missed by all, but his family knows how blessed they are to have had such an amazing man in their lives. We love you dad, until we meet again...
