Frank Pietras, age 66 of Trenton, MI passed away on March 14, 2025. He is survived by his daughter, Erika; his siblings Ken and Karen (Greg) Penn; nieces, Jennifer, Shannon (TJ Irick), Ashley (Billy), and Jessica; as well has his great nephews, Xander and Jaxson. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Genevieve Pietras.
Frank was an inspiration to all, loved by countless individuals who were touched by his kindness. As the founder and owner of "F.P. Painting and Maintenance", he embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship, mastering multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and painting, and making a meaningful impact by servicing numerous group homes downriver. His presence in any room was met with a warm smile and engaging conversation, as he dedicated himself to exceeding expectations and striving for excellence in every task. Through his unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Frank earned a stellar reputation that attracted a steady stream of clients, all through word of mouth.
Throughout his limited leisure time, Frank prioritized supporting his daughter, Erika. They had a bond like no other, they treated each other like best friends and always took advantage of every moment together. Frank and Erika loved to spend time fishing, sitting up in the tree stand, working, cooking, jeep rides, and supporting her at swim meets no matter the location. The simplicity of those moments is what made them so special. In their world it wasn't the rush of everyday life that mattered most, but joy and quiet of these shared moments. Frank knew that these times with Erika were precious, and he would carry them with him always, no matter where life took them. And Erika, in return, will forever hold onto these precious memories and carry on his legacy. She will forever find comfort and strength in the foundation they built together. Their bond is forever unbreakable. He also valued spending time with family on any and every occasion. Frank had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, but his ultimate retreat was spending time at his cabin "Up North!" A bonfire, grilled steaks, a cold beverage, and conversation with friends and family brought him immense happiness.
Frank's memory will be eternally cherished for the joy and fun he infused into the lives of those around him. He led an active lifestyle, driven by a desire to never feel older than the age of 30. Frank's daily attire was incomplete without his work boots, which accompanied him everywhere, even on pool days at Greg and Karen's when he wore his swim trunks and at the beach on Lake Michigan. His life's journey came to a close last Friday afternoon, as he made one last call, helped one last customer, and stood in those boots for the final time, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire his friends, family, and those he served.
You will be forever in our hearts.......
