Frank Eugene Zremski

Frank Eugene Zremski, 92, of Allen Park, MI passed away after a brief illness on March 13, 2022. Frank was born in Detroit, MI on August 6, 1929 to Michael and Ursula Zremski. He grew up with 13 brothers and sisters. As a teen, Frank loved spending his time playing baseball and helping out with school plays. After Graduation from High School, Frank enlisted in the US Navy and served his Country for 4 years on the USS Ashland. In 1953 Frank married his High School Sweetheart Gloria Derucki. They raised three beautiful children together in Allen Park until Gloria’s passing in 1999. Frank worked as a Firefighter for Ford Motor and also ran Security for General Motors until he retired in 1989. Frank was proud of his Polish heritage and upbringing. He loved Golf and Michigan football. Frank was a member of Knights of Columbus Father Saylor Council # 3774. He was proud of all his Grandchildren and their accomplishments. Family and his Religion were the two most important things to Frank. Frank is survived by his sons Steve (Carla Koch), Tom (Cathy) and his daughter Linda (Pat). He is also survived by his Grandchildren Brendan (Megan), Corey, Tori and Alyssa and many Nieces and Nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria, his parents Michael and Ursula and his siblings Helen, Stephen, Stanley, John, Mary, Peter, Michael, Josephine, Angeline, Rose, Lillian, Stephanie and Eugene. Frank’s beautiful smile and sense of humor will be missed by many friends and people he knew him. The Funeral service will be held at Martenson Funeral Home in Allen Park on Thursday March 17th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Burial Mass will be Friday March 18th at St. Frances Cabrini in Allen Park he will lay in state at 9:30 am until mass at 10:00 am. Frank will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, MI.
