Frank B. Yost

Yost, Francis "Frank", 89, of Trenton, MI passed away peacefully Sunday, 10 September 2017 at his home in Trenton surrounded by family and friends after a bout of pneumonia. Frank was born to the late Bernard and Anna Yost in 1928 near Memphis, MI. He graduated from Flat Rock High School in 1946. Frank served in the Michigan Air National Guard. He married Bertha McGlathery in 1964 and they lived together in Trenton for more than 50 years. He was a long-time employee of Ford Motor Company, and a member of the American Legion. Frank is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bertha, and his two sons: Mark, of Chandler, AZ; and Michael (Peggy), of Rockwood. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jacquelynne, Cameron, Rory, Gabrielle and Vaughn. He is predeceased by four sisters, two brothers and one half-brother. Viewing will be Thursday from 5 – 8 pm and Friday from 2 - 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Frank will lie in state Saturday 9 am at Faith United Methodist Church, Trenton until funeral service at 9:30 am. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
