Frank A. Miruzzi

Click on the tribute wall above to view Frank's video tribute. Frank Albert Miruzzi, of Southgate, Mi. died on Monday, February 28, 2022. He was 82 years old. Dearest husband of Joan for 50 years. Beloved father of Jennifer (David) Lambert and Allison Miruzzi. Also two wonderful granddogs, Finnegan and Maddie. Beloved brother of the late Mary Ann (Joe & Serena) Mizzi, Theresa (the late John) Scicluna, the late Emmanuel (Judy) Miruzzi and Lou (Ginny) Miruzzi. Dear brother-in-law to the late Lorraine Weglarz, the late Jack (Judy) Weglarz, the late Walter (the late Michaeleen) Weglarz, James Weglarz, Tom (the late Bernie) Weglarz, the late David (Louise) Weglarz, Dorothy Weglarz, Charles Weglarz, and Ralph (Elizabeth) Weglarz. Frank loved his many nephews, nieces, cousins and cherished family & friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ersilia Miruzzi and his in-laws, Walter and Verna Weglarz. Frank retired in 1995 after 38 years at MichCon. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with his daughters, working at the Southgate Golf Course, golfing, fishing with his brothers, and many, many trips to Florida in the winter. Frank’s great loves were his family, old cars and the Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed owning and showing his 1965 Pontiac Convertible for over 30 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Frank to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Fr. Solanus Casey Center.
