Francis "Frank" Palazzolo

Francis "Frank" Palazzolo was born in River Rouge, Michigan on March 31, 1938. He grew up in a full house in Detroit with his parents and six siblings. Frank passed into the arms of our lord on Monday, December 21, 2020 while surrounded by family in the comfort of his Wyandotte home where he resided over 52 years. Frank was a United States Army veteran having served his country while stationed in Germany during the late 1950's. He retired from General Motors where he worked as an electrician. He loved studying the violin, guitar and listening to classical music in his early years but later enjoyed walking, reading and was an avid history buff. He is survived by his devoted wife Francesca (Biundo) Palazzolo of 56 years and three sons; Giacomo (Angela) Palazzolo, Anthony (Tessa) Palazzolo and Joseph (Katie) Palazzolo, five grandchildren; Dante, Isabella, Marcello, Anthony and Giovanni Palazzolo, and his brother Giuseppe (Francesca) Palazzolo, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Giacomo (Francesca) Palazzolo and siblings; Tony, Charlie, Rose, Jack and Mary. A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date and family and friends will be notified.
