Frances H. Lafee

Frances H. LaFee of Southgate, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved mother of Cheri (James) Ross and Christi (Peter) LaFee-Fedorko. Cherished grandmother of McKenzie Ross, Rachel (Dalton) Cahill, Hannah Fedorko, and Zachary Fedorko. Dear sister of Frank (Jean) Powell. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Gary LaFee, her parents Frank Powell, Sr. and Jeanette Powell, and her siblings; Irene Dunker, Patti Fant, Olive Miller, and Dick Powell. During her life, Frances was a Red Hat Society member, a dedicated St. Cyprian parishioner, and a Greenfield Village volunteer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Interment took place on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery located in Huron Twp., Michigan.

A memorial service will be held in Frances’ memory on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Riverview, Michigan at 10:00 a.m.
