Florence May Asher

Florence was born on May 7th, 1923 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. She passed away on November 7th, 2021 at the age of 98. Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Catherine Major. Beloved wife of Tyrus Asher. Loving mother of Florence (Duane) Dubois, Sharon (Jerry) Cicotte, William (Chris) Fritz, Sam, and Yvonne (Robert) Duchene. Loving grandmother to Joey, Jerry, Josann, Vicki (David), Tommy, Bill (Tera), Kirk, Christopher (Amanda), Daniel, and Gloria. Loving great-grandmother to Amber (Scotty), Shaina, Julia (Vik), Maria, Zack, Josh, Sam, Liam, Nova, and Isley. Loving great-great-grandmother to Zane and Ava Marie. Sister to Ernie (Sandy) and Joyce (Lefty). Survived by so many other family and friends, especially from the deaconess towers where she lived for 26 years. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Road, Trenton, MI. Times are 2:00-3:00 pm for family, 3:00-9:00 pm for friends and public. There will be a Rosary service at 8 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 am. Final resting place will be at Woodmere Cemetery, 9400 W. Fort St., Detroit, MI.
