Filio Gaitanis
Filio Gaitanis, age 90 of River Rouge. She went home to be with her late husband John and the lord on October 11, 2017. Cherished sister of the late Nondas Thiacos. Loving aunt of Lisa (Steve) Milligan, Megan and Daniel Milligan, Adrienne Thiacos, and Gerald Thiacos. Beloved sister in law of Aristidis Gaitanis. She also leaves behind loving nieces and nephews in Greece. A visitation in honor of Filio will be held Sunday October 22, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm with a Trisagion Service at 4:00pm at the Allen Park Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral mass will be held the following day October 23, 2017 at St. George Greek Orthodox with an instate at 9:30am and a mass beginning at 10:00am. Burial at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery to follow. Memorial contributions in honor of Filio may be made directly to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
