Fernanda 'Fay' Dimarco

Fernanda "Fay" was born on August 9, 1927 in Prada, Italy and died on December 5, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn at the age of 90; she was of Dearborn and formerly of Allen Park. Beloved wife of 68 years to Artemio "Art". Cherished sister of Adina (the late Joe) Mancini. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends as well as her special cousins Silvania and Tony DiMarco who took excellent care of Fernanda. Preceded in death by her parents Paolo and Maddalena (nee: Duronio) Laccetti and one brother Philip Laccetti. Fernanda was an excellent cook who loved welcoming people to her home and showing them hospitality and love. Visitation is on Friday from 3- 8 pm with a Wake Service on Friday at 5 pm both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Prayers will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 am with a procession from the funeral home to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Melvindale for the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at the Church at 10 am.
