Ferdinand “Flirt” Joseph Jean, age 85 of Rockwood; Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Dolores Jean. Loving father of Gregory (JoAnn) Jean, Lisa (the late John) Gutenschwager, and the late Robert Allen Jean. Dear brother of Louis (Marion) Jean, Jeanie (the late Jim) Osbourne, and Robert (Cynthia) Jean. Cherished grandpa of Christopher (Nikki), Terra (Bradley), Kenneth (Melisa), and Angela (Christopher). Caring great-grandpa of Rowen, Gavin, Riley, Mackenzie, John, Raegen, and Benjamin. Ferdinand was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Magella Jean and his siblings; Andre (the late Rose) Jean, The late Gerald (the late Gert) Jean, The late Carmen (the late Joseph) Kendrick, and the late Claude (Kim) Jean. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends. Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ford Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 23620 N. Huron River Drive, Rockwood, MI 48173. There will be a rosary held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Resurrection will take place the following day, Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church located at 32477 Church St., Rockwood, MI 48173. In State 10:00 a.m. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp.
