Click on tribute wall above to view David's funeral service. F. David Charles, of Baroda, Michigan, passed away July 11, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Ruth D. Charles. Cherished father of Lynn (Robert) Vaughn, Lawrence D. (Peggy) Charles, Kathy (Joe) Smeltzer and Kay (Dave) Steinbrook. Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Albert (the late Pearl) Charles. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and his son-in-law Jim Nevil. Visitation will be held at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Sunday July 24, 2022. The casket will be open for public visitation from 10:00 am until 10:30 am. Closed casket visitation will continue from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Immediately following the service, the family invites everyone to attend the luncheon. Burial will take place Sunday July 24, 2022 at 5 pm. We will be meeting the family inside of the gates by the front office of Michigan Memorial Park, and will proceed to the chapel for a committal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Church of the Lord Our Righteousness, or Caring Circle of Spectrum Health, Berrien County.
