Eva Giles

Giles, Eva "Mama". Age 88 of Woodhaven. Born June 11, 1926 in Wrightstown, Wisconsin and died August 7, 2014 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Beloved wife of the late Howard M., Sr. "Daddy-O". Loving mother of Mary Lou (the late Voris) Smith, Linda (Ron) Reynolds, Peggy (Wayne) Niesen, Howard M., Jr. (the late Sandra Lee), Bill, Eva "Dollie" (Mike) Bartolotta, Eddie and Terrie (Doug) Pilz. Also survived by 33 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and other loving family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents Simon and Gertrude (nee: Kilenberger) Wendl, 9 siblings and her son-in-law Keith Arp. Eva's joy in life was her family; she attended the Woodhaven Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, walking, reading, bird watching, listening to music and going to her cabin up north. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to the donor's choice.
